SB Armor17-K on Corn in Indiana Yields +5.17 bu/ac
Overview
A grower in Indiana ran a trial of SoilBiotics SB Armor17-K on corn. Four applications of SB Armor17-K were made: one in-furrow and the others were foliar spray applied. Imaging showed the acres treated with SB Armor17-K had higher chlorophyll and plant health markers when compared to the control acres. This increased plant vigor led to increased yield of 5.17 bushels per acre from the SB Armor17-K treated corn.

The Results
Yield Summary
Acres treated with SB Armor17-K yielded 5.17 bushels/acre more than the control.
Key Findings
This trial had a +5.17 bushels/acre yield response
Areas treated with SB Armor17-K achieved better emergence — 34 plants emerge within a 93 GDU window compared to 33 for the control.
A satellite image (NDVI Green) that measures plant health and chlorophyll markers was taken near the end of the growing season to gauge “Stay Green” capability of the Trial and Control areas.
This trial location had a +1.87% higher measurement than the control.
Summary
SB Armor17-K supported plant health and vigor in corn leading to an increase of 5.17 bushels per an acre for this Indiana grower.

Products Used

SB Armor17-K
Applied via foliar spray, SB Armor17-K is a plant nutrient product that cultivates robust plants. Its formulation of 0-0-17 supports the plant with much needed potassium. SB Armor17-K aids photosynthesis and other key plant processes that lead to increased plant vigor, improving the plant’s ability to mitigate stress throughout the season.
